Evangelist Christy Poindexter
Christy Poindexter is the wife of Rev. Preston Poindexter, II and the mother of two. She is an anointed and powerful Minister of the Gospel who through the Word and God delivers a message of hope and healing to those who have been broken. Evangelist Poindexter candidly shares her own experiences as inspiration and encouragement to others. She is known for her ability to share God’s truth in power and through her unique sense of humor. She is a member of Corner Stone Church in Memphis, TN., under the leadership of Pastor Preston T. Poindexter Sr., where she is an associate minister. There God has blessed her to serve as Praise Leader for over 10 years and through this experience the Lord taught her the value of offering the sacrifice of praise and true worship regardless of one’s current circumstance.
As a writer Christy Poindexter has contributed her works to various magazines and publications. She maintains an inspirational e-letter, High Calling, which is received across the country as well as in Australia, Italy, parts of Africa, and Europe. In 2005, the Lord blessed Evangelist Poindexter to publish her first book, The 49th Year-Holding on til Jubilee.
Evangelist Poindexter believes in the value of mentorship. Her God-given ministry reaches far beyond the walls of the church as she has provided biblical teaching, life coaching, and held worship services at places such as Saint Peter Home for Children for over 5 years. She has counseled countless women and has also joined the efforts of Saving Our Children, an organization that is dedicated to spreading the word about our missing, abused, and abandoned African-American children, where she has been appointed Director of Seminars.
